Classical pianist and certified educator Emily Vetter is a dynamic and inspiring music teacher who empowers her students to discover their love for music. With a Bachelor's Degree in Music, a Bachelor's Degree in Education, and Orff Schulwerk certification, Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her teaching practice. 


Emily teaches piano from her home studio while also creating teaching resources for piano teachers across North America and beyond. She has a holistic approach to music education in which students explore, move, play, feel, and create through music making. Beyond her dedication to teaching, Emily is a passionate musician with years of experience as a piano accompanist. Her musical talents extend to playing the French horn, trumpet, and trombone - as she has performed with the KPU Wind Symphony, KPU KPU Brass Ensemble, "O-M-E-G-A Brass" Quartet, and Maple Ridge Concert Band.


Emily's expertise, enthusiasm, and exceptional skills have earned her numerous accolades, including the BC Dogwood District/Authority Award in music, the KPU Endowed Piano Scholarship, and the KPU Faculty of Arts Award.
